SnowBlind

I am a severe Dyslexic/ADD. I spent 7 years in Special ED, and road on the Short Bus for 4 of those years. In 7th grade I gave up on school, and just sat at my desk doing nothing throughout the day. Because of this, my mother looked into Dyslexia. I started with vision training and, by the 9th grade my mother was able to get me put back into normal classes. By going to summer school throughout High School I was able to graduate on time. I graduated from Cal State Long Beach with a BFA in Photography.

The video above explains why a person with ADD, ADHD and Dyslexia sees static. The page appears to be moving that’s Why Johnny can’t read, not because of light sensitivity (Scotopic Sensitivity). Some people see static with their eyes open, and some people see static with their eyes closed. The severe case is when people see static with their eyes open and closed. I have even met one person who sees static only in one eye (she is a severe L.D.), I am a severe Dyslexic so I see static with my eyes open and closed.

There are also a group of people who see Tracers( lightning bolts, from either side of their vision), these people develop ADD, and ADHD, but do not have the linguistic problems that people who sees static do, because the Tracers do not prevent there left brain for recognizing the symbol. They see these lightning bolts when their eyes are closed, and open. So when the brain is developing as a young child it is receiving constant stimulation, thereby preventing them from getting to sleep, and keeping the brain active all day.

In a person who does not sees static, the left brain does the reading (symbol based). Since the speech center for men and one of the speech centers for woman are in the left hemisphere, their able to learn to read without much difficulty.

For those people with Addlexia they have to convert their right brain over, to deal with the text. The right side of the brain rebuilds itself, over, and over again, in clumps. When the Addlexic reads they will read in different clumps, at different times, there is no set pattern. This is because the right side of the brain is shape based, and not a symbol based system. In people without Addlexia© the left brain does the reading, and the nerves are in straight rows. The Addlexia have to say each word in their head to get it off the page. In people without Addlexia, the informational directly into the brain since the left brain is designed for names and remembering text based data they are able to remember things that Addlexic can’t. It depends on how much static the person sees (with their eyes open, closed, or both) and the level of linguistic development they had before text. This will determine whether the person becomes ADD, ADHD, or Dyslexic. For those people with Addlexia they have to convert their right brain over, to deal with the text. Woman as a default have two speech centers in their brain, men have only one. Women are not diagnosed with Dyslexia, because they have a higher level of linguistic development. One reason is due to them having two speech centers. Their able to convert over their right brain for text, and are considered to Just need a little help with reading, and math. If you put 10, 5 year-old girls in a room you have to go out and get earplugs.

If you get 10, 5 year-old boys in a room, you will have a sport, a game of war, or they will talk about violent there favorite action hero is. Girls are hyper by default so their not diagnosed with ADD; instead their being diagnosed with depression. This is due to them having 10-30% of the dopamine levels that a non ADD person would have.

ADD means that I am deficit in the ability to pay attention, this comes from doctors observations. Originally this disorder was considered to be brain damage or stupidity. I appear to be easily distracted because I have the ability to manage three thought patterns in my brain at the same time, plus I see static.

Any normal person’s peripheral vision is fuzzy. My peripheral vision is fuzzy with static on top of that. So any movement in my peripheral vision sticks out like a sore thumb, this causes me to look over which makes me appear to be easily distracted. It boils down to being one disorder. I have Hyper Attention Disorder/Dyslexia= Hadlexia©. Hypertension exists in a person who sees things like Tracers while their very younger, due to over stimulation (Tracers/Hyper Attention Disorder= Trace-Had’s, you come up with a better name).

This means I am listening to what you’re telling me, but I am also able to think about 2 other things at the same time. Since I see static, movement in the room will make me look over to see what it is. Usually when I look, the person I am speaking to looks to see what I am looking at, causing a break in the conversation. This makes me appear to be easily distracted due to my short attention span, but it's just the opposite.

I have three levels to my thought pattern:

    1.    my primary thought pattern that I use to accomplish daily tasks, and reed.

    2.    My secondary thought pattern, which I am able to use when Im trying to solve a complicated task while working on another task.

    3.    My third thought pattern is unstoppable, without proper medication (a stimulant plus an antidepressant). For example, if you see static with your eyes closed, the third thought pattern will take that lame song that you heard at work today, and repeat the lyrics of it all night long.

So there is my primary thought pattern, the secondary thought pattern that I can use (but is usually quiet) and the third thought pattern that ramble's on. This means I am constantly thinking. As a result I become highly intelligent. The person who sees static with their eyes open will be smarter, than if they didn't see static. The person who sees static with their eyes closed will become highly intelligent. The person who sees static with their eyes open and close will become even smarter still.

The reverse is true in schools, except that the person who only sees static with their eyes closed will be the least affected and as far as schools are concerned gender will make the greatest difference. Girls are not going to have nearly the same amount of problems as boys, mostly because of the extra speed center.

People who see static with their eyes closed have problems getting to sleep at night. This causes their brain to become overdeveloped, making them smarter due them reviewing the problems they had that day, which then end in them finding different solutions.

Those people who see static with their eyes open, and closed will be smarter than the others because when they are awake their brain is constantly going, and that means that their brain is much more active than the normal child. They are also going to have the most difficulty with written communication, but their going to be incredibly intelligent. This will apply to Trace-Hads as well.

The HAD side of Hadlexia, is caused by 2 problems with certain neurotransmitters. A neurotransmitter is a small chemical signal the goes from one nerve to the next. Those are Norepinephrine, Dopamine, and Serotonin. The first problem Hadlexic's have is that they have 10 to 30% of those neurotransmitters. The second is that they are reuptakeing. I can be on the conference call, and think about two things that have nothing to do with the conference call, or each other, and be the most active person on a conference call, all at the same time. This is caused by reuptakeing. If you're not Hadlexic, you will think that this is not possible. (Talk to a woman. She'll tell you that she can think about two things it once).

The reuptakeing is a chemical transmitter that goes between nerves, so when the neurotransmitter returns to the nerve that scented out, it goes in a big loop. This is what is driving the Hadlexic©, and since they only have 10 to 30% of those neurotransmitters, when you give the Hadlexic a antidepressant it will stop them, because the antidepressant stop’s reuptakeing. By stopping the reuptakeing you stop the Hadlexic. Antidepressants are not covered by my insurance company, because they stopped the reuptakeing, but they will also suck your soul out of your head, because we have such low levels of those neurotransmitters.

The reuptakeing is the obsessive compulsive side of Hadlexia. No we don't wash our hands every five minutes, and rearrange our Lawn Gnomes every 15 minutes. We think through problems over, and over again. If we see something bad happen to somebody on the news, we will spend the entire night thinking about every possible outcome of that situation all night long, with ourselves in the place of the person that had something bad happen to them.

Hadlexic's have a problem staying medicated because they are given either a antidepressant, or a stimulant. Antidepressants are marketed to Hadlexic's, because the child is taken to the Psychologist. The kid is depressed because he is the stupidest kid in the class, so they give him an antidepressant, and that stops in being depressed. This does not work long term because it stops re-up-taking, and that is what’s driving the Hadlexic.

The stimulant raises the level of those chemicals in your brain but does not stop the reuptakeing. This helps greatly but does not stop the obsessive compulsive behavior. So if a person his hypertension hyperactivity disorder they feel a lot better but don't lose their impulsiveness. The proper solution is a combination of the two. All people with Hadlexia have hand tremors their handshakes like an old man. The hand tremors can be stopped by taking beta blockers which are available only by treatment through a neurologist.

Hadlexic's like to move all the time. This is because we have multiple processors (thought patterns); they're trying to do the same task. By moving we occupy one of our thought patterns. We like to bouncer right knee, because it shuts up are left brain, we do this because our right brain is smarter than are left.

So this is a misunderstood disorder. It is a language disability. And proper diagnosis before they see text, will possibly prevent or limit the problems associated with this disorder. The way to diagnose this disorder before the child learns how to read, is to make a magic helmet, that is pitch black in side, put it on the child, and ask the child if they see fuzzes, and wait until after they respond, then flip a switch on the helmet that turns on, a bright white light that exposes a tight checkered pattern, and see if the child yank's, blinking rapidly.

This disorder also accounts for a good portion of our criminal population. The child is considered to be stupid so the school system discards them, and the student population starts picking on them, and since the child has obsessive compulsive disorder, they will start using chemicals (alcohol, and drugs), to compensate for their disorder, and start beating up the kids that are picking on them, and then start stealing, and robbing.

The static that we see, is incredibly small and has either the border of color a round white static, or mostly white static with a tinge of color. People who see static with their eyes closed but not open, only see static with a rise open when there are exhausted.

So you now can find out what the cause of the static is, and what the solution for the static is. All you need to do is get someone who sees static with their eyes closed but not open, and then get them exhausted. They will start seeing static. Then measure them with Cat-Scan, PESIE, or Brain Chemistry, and then you will be able to find the cause of the static.

In the meantime we will be able to prevent the children in the school system from being discarded. And if we start diagnosing the children before they start reading we can find out what color, or colors they see, and then can tint there glasses, so that the page will stop moving, and then start them on phonemic awareness before they are introduced to text, and there left brain then can learn to read. The negative side effects may not occur. Then the children will be considered to be highly intelligent.

Proper understanding that this is because of the static, will change the perception of the child. The child will then becomes special, instead of special ED, and may find a cure for cancer one day. If we diagnose the child before text, we can prevent a lot of pain. We now have a huge diagnostic tool, you can find out if the girl is depressed, or if she's Hadlexic, very easily, and by diagnosing the boy before text we can save him a life of worthlessness. I have sent out over 200 DVD's that explain this in a much clearer way.

I have a language disability, and text is my adversary. The DVD that I have made is copyright only for resell. I made it to help others with my disorder. If you are in the education or research fields and would like a copy please e-mail your address and I will send you one it at no charge. I have standard DVD's that will play in a DVD Player, these that are either NTSC or PAL, and all of the region codes are enabled.

I hope this helps you understand this disorder, or your life better.

Sincerely,

Mark Wood.
